“Located below the foothills of beautiful Southern
California, Cottfordcourt is the combination of Ted and
Gwenn Crawford, Ken and Sue Miller who share the same
passion and love for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
This combined partnership brings together years of
experience in showing and breeding dogs, with the
Miller’s and Crawford’s starting out in 1970 exhibiting
and breeding Saint Bernard’s for 20 years, and now in
our 32nd year with the
Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
Our Cavaliers are shown in both AKC and CKCSC venues.
We are proud to have owner handled and campaigned
several dogs that have been consistently in the top 10
rankings nationwide, many times being in the Top 5,
which has included several invitations to Westminster
Kennel Club and the AKC Eukanuba National. Our sincere
gratitude to Katie Sloan of Turretbank in Scotland for
entrusting us with several exceptional dogs who made the
top rankings including Ch. Turretbank Love Letter, Ch.
Turretbank Lewis and the most noteworthy Ch. Turretbank
Samson ROM, whose show career goes without saying including
being the first Ruby Cavalier to capture an all
breed Best In Show, under noted judge Mrs. Pat
Hastings. And Samson thrilled us again by
being awarded the first AOM at 2007’s Westminster Kennel
Club under respected breeder/judge Mr. Gilbert Kahn.
We are also honored to have owned five dogs that have achieved
their ACKCSC ROM titles, our foundation bitch, Ch.
Grantilley Seraphina ROM, and our Ch. Grantilley On
Broadway ROM and Ch. Grantilley Patriot ROM. Our sincere thanks to Rita Bidgood of
Grantilley fame in England who entrusted us with these
exceptional Cavaliers. Ch. Keyingham Stanway achieved
his ROM, and lastly, a ROM was awarded at
the ACKCSC National Specialty for our dear Ch.
Turretbank Samson ROM.
We hope you enjoy your tour through our website as we
look forward to continuing our “Passion” for Cavaliers
in the coming years.
Special thanks to our good friend Stephanie Hart for her
incredible talent and design work on our long awaited
website.
